Description

Delicious and healthy homemade raspberry fruit leather using frozen raspberries.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz frozen raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons frozen apple juice concentrate
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix together the frozen raspberries, apple juice concentrate, maple syrup, and lemon juice. Use a spatula to ensure everything is well incorporated.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir the mixture occasionally. Cook until the raspberries are thawed and everything is heated through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool for a minute. Pour the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, creating a flat surface.
  5. Pour the blended raspberry mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it evenly to about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 170°F (75°C) for about 6-8 hours, or until the fruit leather is no longer sticky but still pliable.
  7. Allow the fruit leather to cool fully. Remove it from the parchment paper and cut it into strips or shapes.
