Description

A delicious and easy side dish of roasted green beans with garlic and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse and trim the ends of the green beans.
  3. Mince the garlic cloves.
  4. In a bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until beans are tender and lightly charred.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan and drizzle with lemon juice.
  8. Toss gently to coat and serve hot.

  • For added flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
